Quarterback Jeff Driskel, wide receiver Bryce Treggs, defensive lineman Garrison Smith and linebacker Corey Lemonier were all waived on Saturday by the 49ers.

On Sunday, they all have new teams.

Driskel was claimed by the Bengals and will be added to their active roster. He’ll be the No. 3 quarterback behind Andy Dalton and A.J. McCarron.

Treggs, who many thought had the most potential of any of the young 49ers wide receivers, was claimed by the Eagles. He’ll be added to their active roster. That one stings.

But the biggest gut punch to Trent Baalke has to be the Seahawks claiming Smith. After registering 15 tackles in the preseason from the nose tackle position, Smith’s agent blasted the 49ers on Twitter on the way out of the door. He’ll find a new home in Seattle.

Lemonier, a former third-round pick from 2013, was claimed by the Cleveland Browns. There are conflicting reports if he’ll be on the active roster or practice squad.

The 49ers are still finalizing their own practice squad.
