OAKLAND – Klay Thompson has been a standout player during the Warriors current eleven-game win streak, topping this season’s 22-point average on Sunday night with a 23-point game.
Sunday’s matchup against Washington was his fifth consecutive 20-point game. When asked by a reporter after the game what’s made him “special,” Klay stared blankly and shrugged before gathering an answer that simply began with, “I don’t know, just been doing what I do.”
