OAKLAND – It’s not uncommon to see the Warriors block a bevy of their opponents’ shots this season. At 6.8 blocks per game, the Warriors led the league by nearly one more block per game than the second-best Spurs (5.9). It helps having three guys in JaVale McGee, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green who can come off of their matchups and help defend.
That all being said, it still catches your eye when you see 10 Warriors’ blocks against the scrappy Trail Blazers in a game that saw one of the NBA’s best backcourts go off for a combined 75 points.
Game 2 is set for a 7:30 p.m. tip this Wednesday night at Oracle Arena.
