Draymond Green’s second foul with just under a minute to play in the first quarter of the Warriors and Trail Blazers Game 3 first round matchup caused acting head coach Mike Brown to motion Klay Thompson off the bench. But Klay was forced to pace awkwardly back and forth as Draymond motioned him back to his seat.
Eventually, Mike Brown and Klay had no choice but to stand uncomfortably next to each other before Klay took his seat. It’s certainly up for debate whether or not Draymond would have given head coach Steve Kerr (who missed coaching Game 3 due to illness) the same treatment had he been the one to attempt to take the feisty forward out of the game. It’s certainly not out of the question.
