It appears the other shoe has finally dropped. Former Seattle Seahawks running back and Oakland native Marshawn Lynch is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Raiders later today contingent upon completing a physical.
Of course, Lynch is still technically under contract with the Seahawks and must be traded or released by Seattle in order for him to officially join the Raiders. The two teams have apparently come together on an agreement.

From Mike Garafolo and Ian Rappaport:
The Raiders and Lynch have, in recent days, agreed to terms on a contract for the 2017 season. After weeks of negotiation, Oakland agreed to pay Lynch a $3 million base, with a chance to make $2 million more if he gains 1,000 yards.
Lynch has also been reported to have big plans to announce his signing to the city of Oakland.

If all parties come to an agreement today and Marshawn Lynch officially becomes an Oakland Raider, it will end a long period of speculation on whether the two sides would be able to get a deal done before a reported deadline of the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday.
We will certainly be bringing you more on this story as it develops.
