OAKLAND – Game 1 of the NBA Finals featured extremely high level basketball. Kevin Durant scored 38, Curry went 6-of-11 from deep, and the Warriors only turned the ball over 4 times on their way to a commanding 22-point win.
But the most talked about storyline of the night might have been Rihanna yelling at Kevin Durant from the court during the game.
Saturday morning between Game 1 and 2, the Warriors and Cavs held joint media availability at the Warriors practice facility in downtown Oakland. There Curry was asked whether or not the team banned Rihanna’s music from the locker room after she heckled Durant.
“I don’t think it was on there to begin with,” said Curry.
