JaVale McGee found an NBA Finals hat big enough for Zaza Pachulia

OAKLAND – JaVale McGee is the gift that keeps on giving for Golden State Warriors fans.

After the Warriors clinched the Western Conference Finals in San Antonio the team received the usual “we just won something” swag that the league hands out, donning hats and shirts for the trophy presentation. During the presentation, cameras caught Warriors players clowning Zaza Pachulia for not being able to fit the hat on his head.

Thanks to JaVale McGee, that problem is now solved. Saturday McGee posted a video on his Instagram of a humongous NBA Finals hat, telling the camera that it’s for Zaza.

“They really was considerate and got Zaza a hat,” McGee said. “That’s crazy. They so considerate here!”

Assuming it was JaVale that got someone to make the hat, it wouldn’t be the first time the center has custom gear created to poke fun at one of his teammates. He previously bought the whole team blankets with a huge picture of Draymond Green sleeping with his mouth open.

Hilarious.

Javale’s been enjoying a renaissance year with the Warriors, and seems to fit right in with the group, both on and off the court. It will be interesting to see if the center stays with the team after 2017. Last summer he signed a one-year contract worth just over $1.4 million, but he’s played well enough that there will be multiple NBA teams willing to pay more than that for the big man’s services.

Either way, Warriors fans should enjoy having Javale as a Warrior while they can, because he might not be in Oakland for long.
