Pachulia: I’m proud of my big head, it’s ‘full of brains’

It may be a source of laughter in the Warriors locker room, but if there’s one thing that’s for sure, that Zaza Pachulia is definitely not ashamed of his big head.

The Warriors’ center joined the Murph and Mac Show on KNBR Wednesday morning, where he talked about his teammates teasing him about his large dome. Steph Curry and JaVale McGee originally started poking fun at Pachulia after the Western Conference Finals, when his championship hat was too small to fit.

“After becoming Western Conference champs, they gave me this small hat and it didn’t quite fit me so the guys were making fun of me,” he said. “I’m not taking it personal, I know it’s a joke. I’m so proud that my big head is full, full of brains. I don’t care what anybody says- that’s the most important thing. If it was empty, then probably I’d struggle, but I’m proud of my head.”

Pachulia, along with the rest of the Warrior gang will have plenty of time to joke around tomorrow. The Warrior’s championship parade is scheduled to begin Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
