OAKLAND – If this is Ronnie Reyes’ 15 minutes in the spotlight, he’s making the most of it.
Near the end of the Golden State Warriors’ regular season, Ronnie Reyes went to a Klay Thompson autograph session. Ronnie put a funny picture of Thompson looking confused holding the toaster on Reddit, and the picture went viral.

“I just wanted to share it with Reddit,” Reyes said. “We were on a three game losing streak, I thought it was funny. After that, it went viral because it’s Klay. Anything Klay does is going to make the internet.”
That viral interaction got Reyes onto a float in the Warriors championship parade Thursday morning, where we caught up with the Dubs fan. Reyes shared that before he had Klay Thompson sign his toaster, he brought it to David Lee, who also had a funny reaction to a Warriors themed toaster.
“When I got David Lee to sign it, first thing he said (was), ‘Is that a Warriors toaster bro?’ Exactly like that. Exactly like that.”
