Nike and the NBA announced a uniform and apparel partnership back in 2015 and that deal now begins with the 2017-18 season. Tuesday, Nike and the NBA revealed details for the four different kinds of uniforms that each team will have in the upcoming season and also provided a preview of one of the Warriors’ new uniforms.

Nike went all out with their new uniforms and have seemingly focused on upgrading the technology and sustainability of the uniforms themselves. According to Bleacher Report, each uniform, “is comprised of a combination of Alpha Yarns and recycled polyester (each athlete uniform represents approximately 20 recycled PET bottles).”

NBA players seem to be on board with the concepts behind the new jerseys and Golden State’s Draymond Green echoed that sentiment. “When you look and feel good, you play good,” Green told Nike. “I welcome any competitive advantage on the court, and the new Nike NBA uniforms deliver on the feedback that we’ve provided.”

The NBA and Nike have decided to do away with the traditional “Home” and “Away” designs and replacing them with the “Association” and “Icon” editions of the jerseys. Two further primary jerseys are set to be revealed in the coming months and eight teams will also have a “Classic” edition jersey as well. Teams will have much more freedom in picking what jerseys they want to wear for each game in the coming season.
