All-time Golden State Warriors team revealed in NBA 2K18

A discussion among NBA die-hards can now be settled in the newest edition of the NBA 2K video game. Which NBA franchise has the best all-time roster?

It’s a fantasy that is being brought to a reality (sort of): assemble the best players from the history of each NBA franchise, throw them together on one roster, and see how they would stack up against other team’s stacked, “all-time” rosters.

You’ll have to wait until September 19th to play with these rosters in NBA 2K18. On Thursday, however, fans were able to get their first look at which players would make up the all-time rosters for teams across the league.

So, who ended up making the cut for the Golden State Warriors all-time roster? See below.

The present day Dubs made their presence felt. The four All-Stars from the 2016-17 season – Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green – all made the roster, to the surprise of few. Curry and Thompson, in fact, were named as the starting backcourt for the all-time team.

Chris Mullin, Rick Barry and Wilt Chamberlain were named as the other starters alongside the “Splash Brothers.” It’s up for debate if Durant got snubbed from the starting lineup. Don’t be surprised to see many 2K users insert the 2017 Finals MVP into the starting lineup.

Mullin’s “Run TMC” partners, Tim Hardaway and Mitch Richmond, both made the all-time team. The 2007 “We Believe” Warriors also had their presence felt, with Baron Davis, Jason Richardson and Monta Ellis all making the roster.

Latrell Sprewell, Sleepy Floyd, and the late Nate Thurmond also made the cut.

We’ll never be able to see these legends of generations past and present share the court, but the all-time teams in NBA 2K18 at least allow us to imagine how fun it would be to see that happen.
