There is a possibility the Raiders-Chargers game scheduled for Sunday at the Coliseum could be moved to an alternate location due to air quality concerns related to the Northern California wildfires, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. As of now, the game is still scheduled to be played at 1:25 pm in Oakland, and a decision is expected “soon.”

According to Tim Kawakami of The Athletic, Levi’s Stadium is a potential alternate site for the game.

“We continue to monitor air quality conditions in the Bay Area and are in close communication with both the Raiders and Chargers, as well as local authorities,” league spokesperson Michael Signora told NFL Network on Thursday. “At this point, the game remains scheduled for Sunday in Oakland.”

According to the Mercury News, 29 people have died as of Thursday after wildfires scorched more than 182,000 acres and 3,000 structures.
