The team also listed linebacker Reuben Foster as “questionable” even though he looked energized in practice warm-ups this week. Foster is expected to play a limited amount for the first time since he sprained his ankle in the season opener.
Safety Eric Reid was also listed as “questionable” after going through the week of practice with a bulky brace on his knee. Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon (concussion), linebacker DeKoda Watson (groin), and safety Adrian Colbert (hamstring) were also “questionable.”
Without Juszczyk, the 49ers are likely to get more of a contribution from tight end Logan Paulson in the fullback role along with fellow tight ends Garrett Celek and George Kittle.
