While Klay Thompson was one of the main attractions on the court during the Warriors’ home opener on Tuesday, a Klay Thompson impersonator stole the show off it.
Dubbed “Fake Klay,” YouTube star, and Klay Thompson lookalike, BigDawsTv could be seen during the television broadcast sitting behind the Warriors bench wearing Thompson’s jersey, and quickly became a meme on Twitter.
On Wednesday, BigDawsTv released a video detailing his Tuesday afternoon, including the lead up to the game where he fools a number of Warriors employees and fans into thinking he’s the real Klay Thompson. He even gets a chuckle out of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and of course the real Klay, while sitting behind the Warriors’ bench.
