Yeesh.
Fox Sports’ resident Warriors hater Nick Wright was on one Monday morning, after finding out that Stephen Curry would not be suspended by the NBA for throwing his mouthpiece toward an official in Golden State’s loss to Memphis Saturday.
Wright was beside himself while speaking to Chris Carter on FS1’s First Thing’s First, outrageously arguing that Curry should’ve been suspended five games for the incident, and calling Golden State the “most unlikeable team in sports.”

Wright then continued his rant on Twitter, arguing that Steph is a repeat offender, and that Udonis Haslem was suspended for one playoff game for a similar incident in 2006.
Holdup…Steph isn’t being suspended even a single game for throwing his mouthpiece directly at a ref in anger? That is absolutely ludicrous

This story (from when Steph threw his mouthpiece at a fan) has video of Haslem's throw that cost him 1 playoff game https://t.co/19IA5XG2SV

I know the NBA always protects its stars, but not suspending someone for throwing something directly at a ref during a tantrum is insanity.

Steph Curry is officially the only player in the damn league who could throw something at a fan & then a ref and serve 0 games suspended.

Steph deserved 5 games, but I knew he wouldn’t get that. Figured it’d be 3, and I was 100% certain he’d get at least 1. No games is a joke.

Don’t touch/throw things at the refs or risk harsh punishment is a rule across sports from peewee to the pros. This is really astonishing.

How folks responded to Marshawn vs how they responded to Steph Curry is a rorschach test for credibility, especially for the Bay Area folks.
