Santa Clara – At this rate, the 49ers might have to play seven-man football. They already delving deeply into the junior varsity of their practice squad and street free agents, and that might continue after they lost another four players with injury in the 20-10 loss to the Cardinals.

Starting free safety Jaquiski Tarrt was the biggest name of the list after breaking his arm. Coach Kyle Shanahan said Tarrt will likely be placed on season-ending injured reserve. This is after the team lost safety Jimmie Ward to a broken arm last week in Philly.

Additionally, tight end Cole Hikutini (knee), linebacker Elijah Lee (knee) and fullback Kyle Juszczyk (neck) also left with injuries and more on their situations will be known on Monday.
