With Steph Curry’s status for Monday’s home game against the Orlando Magic still in flux, the Warriors have called up point guard Quinn Cook from the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G-League.

Curry suffered a right thigh contusion on Saturday evening in the first quarter of the Warriors’ victory over the 76ers, but Curry was able to play through the pain and help lead Golden State to its sixth straight blowout win. On Sunday, the Warriors officially listed Curry as questionable for Monday night, and as a result, the team elected to bring Cook up from the G-League should Curry need to rest.

Cook, a Duke University product, has dominated through his first five games with Santa Cruz, averaging 26.0 points per game and 7.4 assists per game.
