Jordan Bell trolls Bulls with cash considerations celebrations

OAKLAND–High. Level. Trolling.

Rookie Jordan Bell fits the Warriors from a basketball perspective because the team needs his athleticism and bounce as a rim protector. But Bell also fits the Warriors as a personality, and Friday night’s win over the Chicago Bulls provided fans with another taste of how Bell conducts his business on the court.

After being drafted by the Bulls this summer and traded to the Warriors for $3.5 million in cash considerations, Bell entered Friday’s game with revenge on his mind. Even though the Oregon product sat out four of the team’s last five games as a healthy inactive, Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr gave Bell his first career start, and the rookie did not disappoint.

His final stat line showed a glimpse of his overall value, as he chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, six blocks, four assists and two steals, but his highlight reel from the Warriors’ 143-94 win over the Bulls will include a few charismatic celebrations.

That money sign celebration? There was some meaning to it, as Bell admitted after the game he was trying to troll the Bulls for trading him for “cash considerations.”

Though cameras caught him trolling Chicago late in the fourth quarter, Bell also said after Friday’s game that he flashed the money celebration during starters’ introductions.
