Would you stand in the way of a leaping Kevin Durant?
Cavaliers’ star LeBron James was faced with that exact question on Monday evening in the first quarter of a matchup between Golden State and Cleveland, and James came up with an emphatic answer.
“No thank you!”
With Durant racing down the floor on a Warriors’ fast break, James pulled up as if he planned to take a charge under the hoop. Once Durant took control of the ball, James turned his body and elected to preserve his health instead of risking being on the wrong end of a poster.

It wasn’t Durant’s first dunk of the game, either, as he climbed the ladder earlier in the quarter for another highlight reel play. Though Cleveland had control of the game after one, Golden State took the first matchup the two teams played this season with a 99-92 win on Christmas Day.
