Draymond Green pays Evan Turner $100 mid-interview to settle bet

Evan Turner had a decent night at the office. His Portland Trail Blazers staved off a Golden State Warriors second-half comeback attempt to win 123-117 on the last day before the All-Star break. Turner himself had a OK game, scoring 6 points and grabbing 6 boards in only 18 minutes.

But his night got a lot better after seeing Draymond Green getting interviewed by a members of the media following the game.

Caught on camera by Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Turner yelled at Green that he owed him $100 after Ohio State (Turner’s alma mater) beat Michigan State (Green’s alma mater). Draymond called him over on the spot to settle the bet.

“Thank you my good man,” Turner told Draymond as he was walking away. “Hey be safe. Always a pleasure. Big 10 for life. Keep it classy.”

Funny little moment between the two former Big 10 players. Interesting time to pay up, but you never know when you’re going to get another chance to settle those type of things.

Good on ya Draymond.
