Just when it appeared as if Patrick McCaw was returning to his old self, ESPN’s Chris Haynes and Anthony Slater of The Athletic reported on Wednesday that the 22-year-old shooting guard will miss four weeks with injuries to both his wrists.
Golden State guard Patrick McCaw suffered a small fracture in his left wrist and will be out approximately four weeks, league sources tell ESPN.

Patrick McCaw is out tonight with two sprained wrists, sprained left in G-League, right wrist vs Suns. Steve Kerr: "It's worrisome."

McCaw sprained his left wrist during an appearance in the G-League and then did the same to his right against the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, which later led to a small fracture.

There’s no such thing as perfect timing when it comes to an injury but for McCaw, the timing could not have been worse.
Shortly after requesting a demotion to G-League to “get some consistent run in” on February 7, McCaw scored nine points in 7:44 minutes against the Suns and made his first three-pointer since December 27.
Prior to that, McCaw struggled mightily and only put up four points in seven games before facing the Suns from January 23 through February 10.
