When IPAs just don’t cut it double IPAs are around to save the day.
In this week’s episode of Tolbert’s Beer Reviews Tom reviews Temescal Brewing’s Big Spoon double IPA straight out of Oakland. If you’ve watched one of Tom’s reviews before, you know that he’s partial to Citra and Mosaic hops so this double IPA is right up his alley. This 7.9% boasts a fun design and contains a great “mhmmm” moment inside. The Big Spoon DIPA is the older brother of Temescals IPA the Little Spoon and is to be enjoyed with a glass not a spoon (incase you were wondering).
