The Golden State Warriors have decided what they’re are going to do in lieu of making the traditional trip to the White House that usually comes with wining an NBA title. The reigning NBA champs have decided to go on a private tour of an undisclosed locale on Feb. 27 in their lone visit to the nation’s capital, league sources told ESPN. This comes after President Donald Trump “uninvited” the team from the White House on September 23, after Stephen Curry and other players made comments critical of the administration, and said they probably weren’t interested in making the visit.
Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!

It’s unclear exactly where the tour is going to be held and who will be in attendance, but according to ESPN no media will be present, and only players, coaches and local students will be included.
“It’s their championship,” Kerr told ESPN. “They got disinvited to the White House, so it’s up to them what they wanted to do. So, they made their plans. I want the players to have a good day and to do something positive and to enjoy what they’re doing.”
