Just when it looked as if the Golden State Warriors had Jordan Bell back for good, the rookie center sprained his ankle on Tuesday and was ruled unavailable for Thursday night’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Patrick McCaw, who has been out Feb. 12 after suffering a small fracture in his left wrist, was also ruled out by the Warriors. Andre Iguodala and David West were both listed as doubtful.

Late in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game, Golden State’s lead was cut to four after jumping ahead with a 25-0 run in the first quarter against the Brooklyn Nets. In an attempted block, Bell came down awkwardly on his right ankle and did not return after limping to the locker room.

After the Warriors managed to pull out a 114-101 victory, it was reported that Bell sprained his right ankle. Fortunately, his x-rays came back negative and is considered to be day-to-day. In just more than 10 minutes played against the Nets, Bell scored five points with two blocks and two rebounds.
It was only his fourth appearance since missing 14 games due to another ankle injury he suffered on Jan. 17.
For West, his right arm cyst kept him from facing the Nets on Tuesday night. As for Iguodala, this will be his first missed game since Feb. 2, and there is very little information surrounding the specifics of his injury.
