Chris Paul elbows Kevin Durant in the butt

If you’re like us, you’ve been waiting for this matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets all year. The two teams did not disappoint in the first half, playing a wildly exciting opening two quarters to start the series.

Most of the stars came ready to play. James Harden came out of the gates knocking down 3-pointers and getting into the lane at will. Kevin Durant also arrived in Houston ready to play, knocking down mid-rangers left and right.

It also appears that Chris Paul was ready for business Monday night.

At one point in the first half Paul found himself under the Golden State basketball trying to dribble around Kevin Durant. As he did, the All-Star point guard threw a hard right elbow into Durant’s backside, knocking 35 to the ground.

In a game that only took 67 seconds to get a technical foul from Draymond Green, drama has been at the forefront. Don’t expect that to change as the series progresses.
