OAKLAND — We are accustomed to Stephen Curry’s scoring explosions. As for his profane celebrations, not so much.

After struggling in Games 1 and 2, Curry poured in 35 points to lead all scorers in Golden State’s 126-85 win over the Houston Rockets Sunday night. His 18-point third quarter featured vintage Curry, who was filled with so much excitement after making a scoop layup that he let one slip.

When asked postgame about the outburst, Curry, sensing what was going to be asked, cut off the reporter asking the question.

“I already know,” Curry said, smiling. “I blacked out.”

The exultation came shortly after Curry drilled a transition three-pointer, and did something we are more used to seeing: a shimmy toward the Oracle Arena crowd.

Curry felt it throughout the second half, scoring 26 of his 35 points in the period. After going 2-13 from three-point range combined in Games 1 and 2, Curry went 5-12 from deep in Game 3.

“You just got to find whatever it is to get you going,” Curry said. “Obviously, it felt good and you want to use that energy to show your teammates you are here, you are with them, get the crowd into it.”
