During the third quarter of Games 3 & 4, Stephen Curry was shimmying all over the Oracle Arena floor while dropping 35 combined points. During Thursday’s Game 5, Chris Paul returned the favor, doing Curry’s patented move in his face after hitting a ridiculous 3-point shot. Curry took it in stride, chuckling as he ran back down the court.
Paul had an awful start to Game 5, scoring just two points on 0-for-7 shooting during 18 first half minutes, while going a game low -8 during his time on the floor. Paul turned things on in the third, however, scoring nine points while knocking down three 3s, through the first 9 minutes of the quarter.
Curry has also struggled, going 1-for-5 from the 3-point line through his first 29 minutes on the floor. Curry has 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting overall. Kevin Durant leads the Warriors with 22 points on 7-of-17 shooting.
