Draymond Green knows what type of player he wants the Warriors to select with the No. 28 pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft.
“There are 82-game players, then there are 16-game players,” Warriors assistant general manager Larry Harris told reporters of his conversation with Green. Green wants the latter.
Larry Harris said Draymond Green's given the front office a piece of advice: "There are 82-game players, then there are 16-game players." Draymond's interested in the 16-game (playoff-type) players.

Though not required to attend any of the Warriors’ pre-draft or draft day functions, Green has inserted himself into the draft process, and has been at the team facility for draft workouts both Monday and Tuesday. He also may be in the team’s war room on Thursday.
“He just loves basketball,” general manager Bob Myers said Tuesday. “I mean what is he doing here? He’s at our draft workout on Tuesday and stays. He came in our draft room (Monday). That’s the kind’ve guys you want. I mean that’s our business, it’s basketball. So to have a guy like him who’s a three time champion, care about who we’re taking at 28, shows great leadership.”
