In a shocking development, the Warriors have agreed to a deal with former Pelicans and Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Golden State will use the taxpayer mid-level exception, worth around $5.3 million for next year, to sign Cousins, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Cousins, 27, is a four-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA selection. The Warriors now have five All-NBA caliber players in their presumed starting lineup. Cousins tore his achilles on January 26th with the Pelicans last season and should be finishing up his rehab by the time training camp rolls around at the end of September.
Cousins averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.6 blocks in 48 games last season. During that time, Cousins also made 104 threes.
