The ‘Ballot Brothers’ want you to vote Brandon Belt in to the All-Star game

The San Francisco Giants have already qualified two players to the 2018 MLB All-Star Game, and the team has gotten a bit creative to try and send a third.

Brandon Belt, enjoying perhaps the best statistical season of his career, is a finalist for the last spot on the National League’s roster. Belt joins Jesús Aguilar (Milwaukee Brewers), Matt Carpenter (St. Louis Cardinals), Max Muncy (Los Angeles Dodgers), and Trea Turner (Washington Nationals) as the NL’s Final Vote nominees.

The final roster spot is decided by fan voting, which ends Wednesday at 1 p.m. You can cast your vote here.

Derek Holland and Hunter Pence know all of this already. They appeared in a video on the San Francisco Giants Facebook page as the “Ballot Brothers,” a pair of Hulk Hogan-esque wrestlers who need YOUR HELP BROTHER to get their first baseman into the midsummer classic.

The bit was done very well, and features Brandon Belt championship belts, chains, Hulk Hogan impressions and absolutely zero sleeves.

If the Ballot Brothers help their first baseman reach the All-Star Game Belt would join Brandon Crawford, who will start for the National League. Buster Posey also qualified for the game, but will sit out due to right hip inflammation.

Well done, gentlemen.
