The dog days are not over.
Well, at least the Northern California dog days of summer we all know and love. And that means it’s time to crack into something light, tasty, and sessionable. A porch-pounder, if you will.
That’s why this week our esteemed beer reviewer chose to review Alamont Beer Works’ Citra Haze. It’s a pale ale out of the East Bay, and at only 5.2% ABV it’s great for those summer afternoons. From the brewer:
100% Golden Promise malt gives this beer a solid malt base and a golden color, while the 100% Citra hops give the beer a soft bitterness with a balanced hop flavor and aroma. Notes of citrus and tropical fruit make this beer perfect for those hot days!
