With a week left before the regular season kicks off, the Warriors’ roster continues to expand. It appears more and more like the team may not be able to reach an agreement with restricted free agent Patrick McCaw, who declined the Warriors’ one-year $1.71 million qualifying offer.
At this point, it'd be pretty surprising if Patrick McCaw re-signed with the Warriors. Golden State has five days to pick a replacement, and tonight will be a critical part of that process.

With two guaranteed roster slots available and one two-way contract available, the team is evaluating a number of options in Tyler Ulis, Marcus Derrickson, Danuel House, Kendrick Nunn and Alfonzo McKinnie, who are all on summer contracts.
Today, the team announced it added point guard Will Cherry, an Oakland native, to that group via an Exhibit 10 contract. Cherry, who played four years at the University of Montana, played eight games with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2014-15 season. He has spent much of his professional career abroad and is a likely candidate to spend time with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G-League.
