The Warriors have signed Alfonzo McKinnie to a two-year non-guaranteed deal, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. It is assumed that McKinnie will fill the 14th spot on Golden State’s roster, and that the Warriors will enter the season with on open roster spot. Patrick McCaw still remains unsigned.

As planned, Warriors will enter the season with only 14 roster guys. That vacant 15th spot can remain as a leverage point with still restricted free agent Patrick McCaw.

McKinnie, 25, plays primarily small forward (6-foot-8, 215 lbs) and appeared in 14 games for the Raptors last season, averaging just 3.8 minutes per game. A Chicago native, McKinnie split time between the Eastern Illinois and Wisconsin-Green Bay, finishing his college career averaging 7.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 96 games.
The Raptors waived McKinnie on July 17, just before his $1,378,242 salary for the upcoming season became guaranteed.
The Warriors also announce they have waived camp invitees Deyonta Davis, Danuel House Jr., Kendrick Nunn, and Tyler Ulis.
