It’s 38 degrees in Green Bay, but Marquise Goodwin is on fire.
The 49ers receiver is back in the lineup Monday after missing last week with a hamstring issue. Goodwin made his presence known before the nationally televised game, warming up shirtless on the field during pregame warmups despite frigid conditions in Green Bay.
If Goodwin was cold, it didn’t take him long to heat up. Quarterback C.J. Beathard connected with the receiver for two first-half touchdowns, including a 67-yard bomb at the end of the first quarter.
Beathard drops an absolute BEAUTIFUL pass right over Goodwin’s shoulder for a touchdown. What a response by the 49ers!

The second TD gave San Francisco a 21-20 lead, after they trailed 17-7 in the first quarter. Goodwin finished the half with three catches for 114 yards, and now has three touchdowns in four games this season. The 49ers took a 24-20 lead heading into halftime after a Robbie Gould field goal.
