Russell Westbrook isn’t playing in the Warriors’ regular season opener vs. the Thunder, but that doesn’t mean he’s being quiet.
Westbrook, out with a right knee issue, was his usual boisterous self while sitting on the Thunder bench, leading to an interesting moment early in the first quarter.
While Kevin Durant was guarding Steven Adams in the post, Westbrook appeared to call for the ball to be passed to Adams. Once it was, Durant promptly stripped it, and turned to Westbrook, staring down his former teammate.
