Draymond on Jerebko game-winner: ‘My favorite part was him yelling in their bench’s face’

Jonas Jerebko stole the show in his return to Utah.

In just his second game since joining the Warriors this summer, Jerebko’s last-second tip-in gave Golden State a 124-123 win in a wild game Friday night.

But it was the moment right after that that teammate Draymond Green enjoyed the most.

“Forget the win. Forget the game. My favorite part was him yelling in their bench’s face,” Green told reporters after the game.

After the ball went through the net, Jerebko let out a scream right in front of Utah’s bench, the team that waived him this offseason. Jerebko was then swarmed by his teammates, including a shirtless Andre Iguodala.

“But it’s a great moment,” Green said. “You know obviously him spending the year here last year, coming back here in the second game of the season and him playing really well and kind of capping it off with that, it was a great moment for sure.”

It was a nice capper for a solid all-around game for Jerebko, who scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in 24 minutes, including an extended run in the fourth quarter.
