What a night.
Stephen Curry’s scorching start to the 2018-19 NBA season continued on Wednesday vs. the Wizards, when the two-time MVP dropped 51 points in just 32 minutes on 24 shots, while going 11-16 from 3-point range.
Perhaps the most enjoyable was Curry’s 10th 3-pointer, which he nailed from 31-feet out late in the third quarter. His third 3 in less than two minutes and fourth of the quarter overall, Curry celebrated by giving a nod to the great one, doing the classic “Jordan shrug” twice, a homage to Michael’s famous celebration after he hit six 3-pointers in a half during the 1992 Finals.

Few ever do, but there’s no question Curry earned the Jordan comparison with the show he put on Wednesday night.
