With the trade deadline looming at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the 49ers have reportedly received interest for wide receiver Pierre Garcon. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday that “at least three teams” have reached out to the 49ers about Garcon.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan addressed the Garcon situation after San Francisco’s 18-15 loss at Arizona Sunday afternoon.

“We’ve looked into everything,” Shanahan told reporters, via NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco. “Teams have talked about it. It is a possibility, but nothing is for sure right now.”

Garcon, 32, is scheduled to earn $6.63 million in base salary this season and $5.65 million in base salary in 2019. If a team were to acquire Garcon, it would pay the remainder of Garcon’s 2018 contract and his 2019 non-guaranteed deal.

“He is one of the guys that people have asked about and we have talked about, but nothing is going down right now,” Shanahan said. “We’ll see how these next two days play out with Pierre and a lot of people.”

The 49ers have long maintained they will entertain all moves to improve their roster. Garcon was on pace for a solid year in 2017, his first with the 49ers, catching 40 passes for 500 yards in eight appearances. But a neck injury ended his campaign early. He has been less consistent this season, producing 21 catches for 230 yards in seven appearances. He missed Sunday’s loss with shoulder and knee injuries.
