Klay Thompson said Steph Curry, the previous owner of the 3 record, told him at halftime ‘Go get it.’ Klay: “That just shows the unselfishness.” pic.twitter.com/uSJluOXEOh

Klay Thompson broke the NBA record for 3-pointers made in a game on Monday night, when he dropped 14 triples against the hapless Bulls. Unsurprisingly, the previous record holder was teammate Stephen Curry, who hit 13 3s vs. the Pelicans in 2016.
But Curry didn’t seem to mind his record being broken on Monday. In fact, he encouraged Klay to do it.
“They knew,” Klay said of his teammates. “Even before I went out for the second half, Steph looked at the box score and said ‘Go get it.’ That shows the unselfishness that’s within him.”
At halftime, Thompson had already knocked down 10 3s and had a ridiculous 36 points, the former of which also tied an NBA record.
Curry posted this to his Instagram after the game.
Get you a teammate who supports you, even after you break his NBA record ?

Since the arrival of Steve Kerr, there have been countless examples of unselfishness from this star-studded Warriors team. Monday was just another one.
