Draymond Green jokes about suspension

It’s good to see the Warriors return to their lighthearted attitude, especially after losing to the Houston Rockets 107-86, and especially after Draymond Green and Kevin Durant got into a spat that saw Green suspended.

While Durant snapped back at a reporter who asked him about Green returning, saying, “Don’t ask me about that again,” Green was much more lighthearted about the suspension. Green played one of his worst games in recent memory, racking up triple-fives in rebounds, assists and turnovers. He had exactly zero points on the night.

Still, Green, Durant, Stephen Curry and DeMarcus Cousins were able to laugh in the fourth quarter as the Warriors trailed the Rockets by 25 points.

After the game, despite the result, Green was still in a lighthearted mood, saying, “Thank God I got suspended,” after playing 42 minutes in the Warriors’ loss to the Clippers with a sprained right toe and sore right foot.

“I was sore, really sore,” Green said. “So I sat there and iced the whole day, did some treatment at home. You know, everything happens for a reason.”
