Draymond Green is planning to appeal the $120,000 fine issued to him by the Warriors for “conduct detrimental to the team,” according to Marc Spears of The Undefeated. According to Zach Lowe, appeals of team issued fines are relatively rare.

Draymond’s verbal altercation with Kevin Durant on Monday, led to the first suspension without pay issued during the Steve Kerr era. According to Marcus Thompson, Green found it “shocking” that he was both suspended and fined publicly, and expected a private fine for his conduct, similar to what was issued when he got into it with Kerr in the Oklahoma City locker room in 2016.

Green addressed the incident with Durant for the first time on Thursday afternoon. You can watch and read his comments here.
