After a high profile incident last Monday where Kevin Durant was reportedly subjected to extremely personal trash talk via teammate Draymond Green, KD didn’t have the patience for any commentary from fans in Golden State’s loss in Dallas on Saturday.
The above video seems to show Durant confronting a fan under the basket, saying “Watch the f***ing game and shut the f*** up.”
What prompted the outburst is unclear.
It’s been a rough week for Durant, whose Warriors have lost three in a row and gone 2-4 in the six games since Stephen Curry has been out. Durant has struggled during that stretch, shooting 42.1 percent from the field and a paltry 18.2 percent from downtown, going 4-of-22 from beyond the arc.
The Warriors return home to face Durant’s former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Thursday night. It remains to be seen if Curry will return for that game.
