On Friday morning, video of surfaced of Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt appearing to push and kick a woman in a Cleveland hotel lobby, as first reported by TMZ Sports. The video took place on February 10, 2018 at 3:22 a.m.

The video begins with Hunt arguing with a 19-year-old woman outside of his hotel room. As the argument escalates, Hunt shoves the woman before being held back by his friends, before she hits him in the face. After Hunt briefly leaves the frame, he appears to knock one of his friends into the woman, sending them both flying into the wall. In perhaps the most appealing moment, Hunt kicks the woman as she’s crouching on the ground.

Police did not arrest Hunt, because they were reportedly unable to determine if a crime had been committed.

Via Sports Illustrated:

The woman, Abigail Ottinger, a 19-year-old Kent State student, claimed that she spent a night on a party bus going to Cleveland bars with a group of Hunt’s friends, according to a police report obtained by Cleveland.com in February. Afterward, she and a friend were kicked out of Hunt’s apartment. She told police Hunt “shoved and pushed her” at around 3:45 a.m. Saturday when the two women did not leave the hallway. The police report said Ottinger suffered abrasions to her knee and hand and a scratch on her chest.

Another woman who was part of Hunt’s group claimed that Ottinger hit her in the face when she left the room, according to Cleveland.com.

The NFL has yet to comment on the incident.
