Cassius Marsh was allegedly accused of dousing a Seahawks fan with Gatorade prior to the 49ers’ 43-16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon, according to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco. The fan, identified as Rob Larsen, 60, reportedly spoke with Seattle police about the incident, and they were expected to file a report. The 49ers were aware of the interaction.

The alleged confrontation stemmed from Larsen jabbing Marsh about a 2012 incident in which Marsh was the victim of a car burglary. Maiocco reported Marsh’s collection of “Magic: The Gathering” cards, reportedly valued at $20,000 to $25,000, were stolen” in the incident.

“I always get the scoop on all these players visiting opponents, and I said, ‘Hey, Mr. Marsh, did you ever get your Pokemon cards back?’” Larsen told Maiocco. “He didn’t like it, and I got doused with a full glass of Gatorade up in the stands.”

Larsen was apparently involved in a 2008 incident with New York Jets defensive lineman Shaun Ellis, who appeared to throw a snowball at Larsen after the game. The video is shown below.

After Sunday’s game, Marsh, who played his first three NFL seasons with the Seahawks, denied the Gatorade incident.

“I don’t know nothing about that,” Marsh told NBC Bay Area. “I love the 12s. The 12s have been great to me, before and after I left. I have no hard feelings for the fans here.”
