Between 1969 and 1972, there were six manned U.S. landings on the Moon. According to Stephen Curry, however, that number is zero.

During a guest appearance on Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore’s Winging It podcast, Curry revealed he buys into the conspiracy theory that the moon landings were a hoax.

Curry: ‘We ever been to the moon?’

“Multiple responders: ‘Nope.’

“Curry: ‘They’re gonna come get us. I don’t think so, either.’”

The Warriors guard was asked again by host Annie Finberg:

FINBERG: You don’t think so?

STEPH: Mm-mm.

It’s admittedly hard to tell how serious Curry is here, and it will be interesting to see how he responds to the inevitable follow up questions that he’ll receive in the coming days.

In a similar vein, Kyrie Irving made headlines when he said in 2017 that he believed the earth is flat, comments he later walked back earlier this year and apologized for.
