Stephen Curry said he was “1,000 percent” joking about his comments on the “Winging It” podcast with Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore in which he claimed the moon landing was faked. But, when you say you believe in conspiracy theories, those comments don’t just disappear.
At least, the Sacramento Kings weren’t ready to let the comments slide. During the pregame introductions between the Warriors and Sacramento Kings, the Kings threw up a video of an astronaut on the moon. Curry, with his typical lighthearted nature, got a kick out of the joke, and was laughing with Jordan Bell while the video displayed on the monitor.
Of course, Kings fans had to get in on the action too. Some Kings fans brought cutout signs of astronauts with them while the Warriors shot free throws.

Despite Curry taking back his initial comments as a joke, it seems unlikely he’ll ever live them down.
