Tolbert’s Beer Review: Pizza Port Brewing Over the Falls Double IPA

What’s more fun than going over Niagara Falls in a barrel? Drinking Over the Falls Double IPA by Pizza Port Brewing Company.

From Pizza Port:

Over the Falls is an Unfiltered DIPA that delivers balanced notes of passion fruit, peach, lime, grapefruit, and pine.

While thinking so much about waterfalls Tom could help but speculate to the real way that Harry Houdini died. In a barrel over a waterfall or from a sucker punch near the edge of one?

“Didn’t Houdini die that way? Or did someone punch him in the stomach before he was ready,” Tom said. Either way he didn’t think the idea was too bright in the first place.

“Going over Niagara Falls and the best you can hope for is to survive, you lived, the worst you can hope for is you’re done, you’re dead.”

Tom’s theory is maybe they were drinking too much of this delicious beer and convinced themselves going down a waterfall was a good idea.

Tolbert Protip: When brining delicious beer to a party hide it behind the ketchup or in the meat drawer.

You might just stop someone from going down a waterfall in a barrel.
