Former Warriors guard Nick Young isn’t currently on an NBA team, but that hasn’t stopped him from making headlines.
The latest comes via TMZ Sports, who is reporting that the Los Angeles Police Department received a call on Jan. 4 from a man who accused Young of assaulting him and stealing his phone at a car wash, after he asked to take a picture with the NBA player.
The man says he is not a paparazzi, but just a fan who wanted to take a photo after he recognized Young. Young apparently wasn’t interested, but the man took the photo anyway. That’s when Young allegedly hit the man in the testicles before swiping the phone in question. The LAPD is reportedly investigating the situation.
The accusation comes six months after Young was arrested for obstruction of justice in Hollywood.
Young, 33, scored nine points in four games with the Nuggets this season before being released on December 30.
