San Francisco 49ers DL DeForest Buckner has been named to the 2019 Pro Bowl in Orlando, FL, replacing Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox, who is unable to participate due to injury. Buckner joins FB Kyle Juszczyk and TE George Kittle as participants from the 49ers.

Buckner earns his first trip to the Pro Bowl following his third NFL season after starting all 16 games and registering 67 tackles, a career-high 12 sacks, three passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 2018. His sack total ranked tied for fourth in the NFC, tied for eighth in the NFL and were the most by a member of the 49ers in a single season since LB Aldon Smith (19.5 sacks in 2012) and the 5th-most in a single season by a 49ers defender since 2000.
