With just a little over two weeks left until NBA All-Star Weekend, the intensity surrounding the big game is heating up. The “big game” being the three-point contest that is. In what’s expected to be an epic battle featuring both Steph and Seth Curry, Blazers star Damian Lillard has said he is motivated to beat the Carolina brothers in front of their hometown crowd.

With all of the attention on Steph as arguably the greatest shooter of all-time from behind the arc, Seth has quietly put up extremely impressive numbers this season. Seth currently ranks second in the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage at 48 percent, which is three points higher than his brother Steph at 45 percent.

Joining Lillard and the Curry brothers in the competition are future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki and Buddy Hield of the Sacramento Kings.

Going up against Steph in a three-point shootout is a tall task in and of itself, but adding fuel to the fire with these comments should give extra motivation to the Currys’ in front of their friends and family.
